Monitors Acer AL1916W Monitor Resoluiton help...?

Friends,

I'm using Acer AL1916W Monitor since last 15-20 days (old monitor 2008 bought).

It's on (Recommended) 1440 x 900 (60Hz) resolution.

But.. the problem is it doesn't cover ALL SIDE EQUALLY?

1. I'm not able to view Task Bar and at same time from Top Side, it left exact space (Blank Space) equal to size of Task Bar.
2. Also it little bit overlap to right hand side of monitor.

I did all settings (Intel HD Graphic) + Auto Mode with Monitor Itself...but no use... I don't have any Graphic Card.

You have to change the aspect ratio in the HD graphics panel settings. Try also to set the full screen mode if it available in the HD Graphics panel. Okay.

Aspect ratio also fail to make the screen to fit Monitor.

If you are using HDMI cable then try to use DVI-D Cable as it might solve your problem.

This Monitor have VGA Port only and my System have HDMI & DVI-D. (No VGA Port)

So I'm using VGA to DVI-D Cable.

My previous 19" Viewsonic monitor has the problem of aspect ratio. So I used DVI to DVI cable and solved the problem.

I dump DELL and moved to Acer

10K DELL Monitor went kaput within 5 years ....
