as per topic , imho the ads should never be inside a member's post. it is akin to sexual assualt on them. any other place but not "inside" the post please .....
 
I guess TE admins got the script wrong... They probably should not have ads in the posts...
 
Looks real weird... its as if i am advertising...meaning the ad looks like my siggy :S
 
I'm seeing ads in the first and last post of every page lol... it's really sad that it's *within* a post (terrible design decision) and not between 2 posts, which makes more sense.
 
Lol according to the Staff on TE if it works for them, they will continue to shove ads in all our posts. I really dont like the concept of the ads in every post. You guys seem to have become quite greedy for the money!
 
Mods, I'm serious... I don't mind paying for an ad-free TE. At least provide us with an option to browse ad-free by donating cash.

Now don't talk like a 15 year old kid! If this gives u any indication, i've not received a single penny from TE for my hard work in last two years. We are not greedy for money but our hosts wont upgrade the server plan just coz we happen to be TechEnclave, India's No.1 Tech Site. Get real dude...u need money for server maintainance and software upgradation. All those fancy skins don't come for FREE! Its not easy to host 8000+ members day in and day out for 2 years on 1 GB disk space and 256MB RAM. I hope you have enough common sense to make that out yourself.

I don't understand whas the problem with ads below your post and it doesn't appear on all posts FYKI, it comes up only below 1st and last posts of a thread. Its clearly marked out as advertisement. If you guys can't even consider this for the overall benefit of TE, it can't be helped.

Well here's an offer. How about a Premium Service for all you ad-haters? You pay up and we'll get rid of those ads for you. Think about it!

Commercial? Have you checked out any other boards around. A dedicated server with worlds top hosting comapny isn't exactly free. And neither is the plan cheap when you have around 400 users all the time on TE. We need the highest end dedicated servers and you are free to check out the costs of those. And the vbulletin and other scripts you see here are also license based. We don't even count the money in form of dollar hours me an qf spend, not to forget the rest of the staff, in coding and mantaing this board.

If putting two ads on each page is going commercial, you are right we are going commercial.
