Both are in working condition but aiwa has some issues with third party earphones. It works very well with sony earbud which will be provided in the box. With some other earphones the sound is right only when the 3.5mm pin is pushed inward.
The cd shown in pictures are provided in the box and one of them do not play in aiwa because of the file format error.

Potential buyers can expect a little reduced price.
I prefer to sell both of them together.

Yeah. I posted it in olx too.
For me philips sound better than aiwa. Aiwa has that typical old sony signature. Boosted bass and boosted treble. Philips' sound signature is more toward warmth. I dont know why aiwa and sony got all the hype.

True. Everything feels nostalgic when i use them. All the buttons, display and the whining sound from spinning cd
I got them from my friend to try it and he wanted to sell them to cover some of his sudden medical expenses. So i just posted here to sell it out for him. I would have kept them if i had the cash.

No issues. Its good to see things like these.

Keep that box intact if you want to get a good price for them in future. I think collection process of walkman and discmans are getting the hype now.
If you intend to use them then you can get audio cassettes even from TE if you search for. It is good feeling to use these once in a while. Try to keep it if you can and use them occasionally instead of keeping them in storage.
If it is not working there are people who repair these.

I have few Cassettes which i do not want. Have not posted them on TE thinking nobody would be interested in buying Cassettes.
So if any one is interested, please pm.

Awesome. I still have some cassettes of bands and artists like Avril and RHCP.
I'm trying to revive my old Sony tape player.

Wow these devices makes me go back to the good old days in 90s and early 2000s

I owned a Aiwa CD player and Sony Cassette player.. unfortunately could not retain it

my story is different i had both and kept them in ptistine condition till last year... except when i left home for job my mom though she should give this obsolete " kachda " to kabadiwala for free ☹️
