PC Peripherals altec mx5021

now i am thinking of a 2.1 speaker system, 99% wont get a 5.1 system unless i get it from abroad. are the mx5021 really that good as u ppl say?
& any1 know if i can get a demo of it in bbay.

mostly cant get 5.1 in my room cause having probs to wallmount the rear speakers, so might buy a 2.1 system so considering mx5021. mainly need the speakers for music, & some gaming. but i dont need surround in gaming so i guess music is the main reason for these speakers.

also can u tell me the exact price of these speakers & any other good 2.1 speakers like the logitech z2200 available here.

& how good are the altec 621 compared to mx5021.

i dont have z680;s in my room, ive told this so many times. heh, its in the other room connected to the hdtv & dvp642, i got creative inspire 2.1 in my room. lol

& i dint waste my money on xbox1, i surely will not waste it on crappy xbox360.
ps3 all the way. will buy it when it releases.

anyways i just wanted to know from ppl who have the speakers let me know how they are etc & also if any1 knows any place in bbay where i can see the demo of these speakers.

The AV show going on. They have it on display.

will go n see it surely.

btw my dealer from lamington road told me not to buy altecs cause he was having probs with getting replacements if there were any probs cause the distributor of altecs was zeta tec which is shut down now since 4 months.

also i read in another post that appolyon got the price of 8.7k in pune. should be cheaper than that in bbay then.

The new distributor is Rashi Peripherals so you shouldnt have a problem.
 
how are the speakers appolyon. & what soundcard u using it with, i am gonna use with audigy2 if i buy. also if i dont get it for around 8.3k here then i guess ill buy it from pune, so give me the number appolyon.

any1 has idea the cost of logitech z5300, last i heard it was around 13000rs, & they cost 140$ online same as the mx5021. so i dont feel like spending so much more on z5300 than the usa price. mx5021 price seems to make more sense.

gonna go to the av expo tomorrow n check it, hopefully its there.

Me might go tomorrow as well. In pure audio quality, the MX5021 has no equals... Including the Z-680.
 
went to the av expo. speakers were not there for demo neither were they on display. on asking they said it will come in july. so still not heard the speakers.

will be buying in around 10 - 12 days. so hopefully will get the hear them before i buy.
 
i asked my dealer at lamington road. he told me the price of the speakers is 9600rs, same as what rashi had said.

if any of you guys have bought it from bbay can u tell me where u bought them for 8k or 8.5k.
 
hi had contacted rashi the rate given to me was 9700/- only(and it was out of stock) any idea where it can be found for a cheaper price in mumbai
