yes but till now i had never seen imported phones on amazon. might be change of policy as else sellers would love to sell these as they have been doing on ebay for years. they did not allow other sellers to sell these till recent times
I have seen listings from cart2india on amazon.in for a long time. So, there's nothing new about that.

If they want to get technical, then they can't even sell in the name of Amazon. That's the reason they use the name Cloudtail, don't they.

This is because of B2B and B2C setup rules. This is reason Flipkart has WSRetail, Amazon has Cloudtail and Snapdeal has Jasper Infotech.

Even some imported gpus are being sold on amazon.. But clearly mentioned that no warranty in India.. Even though you are paying the taxes and import..
