Friends, I want to buy a AMD quad processor. I have these offers. Which one to buy???

Purpose: For video editing, video conversions, gaming, and for overall computer working. No specified for a particular work.

1) Phenom X4 9850 BE
MSI DKA790GX Platinum ( 790GX chipset ) Link: MSI Global ? Computer, Laptop, Notebook, Desktop, Mainboard, Graphics and more

2) Phenom II X3 720 BE
Gigabyte GA-MA78G-DS3H Link: GIGABYTE - Product - Motherboard - Comparison Sheet - GA-MA78G-DS3H (rev. 1.0)

3) Phenom II X3 720 BE
Biostar TA790GXBE 6.x Link: BIOSTAR :: TA790GXBE :: Specification

Friends, which one do you prefer??

Not a good over clocker but will do it a little bit.

i would go for X3 720 BE since it has new PII architecture and more cache memory and better memory controller.. i choose option No.3 as best

Phenom was a failure. All the problems of Phenom were rectified in Phenom II and its a new architecture. So bet your money on Phenom II.

I suggest you get PII X4 810 BE than an X3 720 as your main purposes are video editing and conversion. For gaming both will be almost equal, and x4 is much better for other purposes.

X3 720 is better overclocker, and can do 4Ghz with a good cooler but X4 810 tseems to touch the roof at 3.6~3.7ghz.

Both sells for almost same price, maybe some 200~300 bucks difference.
