CPU/Mobo Amd x4 955 be querry !

Now core voltage is : 1.296 v b4 it was 1.4XX v

temps are okaish now, i mean FOR NOW !

never touched 60, played gta 4 !!! :D :) !, but when the temps go like 50- 57 the jet engine resumes :@, again @ 4000+ RPM :(

& when i play GTA 4 or other games even though the temps are on the safe side ( 55-58 ) the Fan speed skyrockets !

So will a after market cooler do the JOB ?

Yes .Pls change ur CPU cooler.It will surly make difference.

No. That cooler might be a jet engine but it is really good, probably the best stock cooler I've seen bundled with AMDs. Btw that noise is quite a good indication of how hot the CPU is. I use that as my temperature monitor :P

For 2k, get the Coolermaster Hyper 212+
 
@OP--you can further undervolt it to 1.20V also,I told you about the hyper tx-2 i have--you can take that--its lying around and i've never used it for more than 10 days.
