android @ around 25k

lookin to buy an android fone around 25K...need gingerbread, good battery life, future updates and the best of what is available now. Galaxy S2 is on my mind but need suggestions apart from that!

Why not look at the hTC Desire HD, though it comes with 2.2 Froyo you can upgrade it to 2.3 GingerBread. Have a look at this yourself!

Go for the LG Optimus 2X, getting gingerbread soon, as CM7 also, pointless getting another phone at that budget(no confirmation on price of SGS2, so best bet is Optimus 2X)

I read on one of the forums that there was a PR by Samsung which said SGS2 at 29990. Also, many dealers have shouted out 28k or so. So there is no harm in expected a within 30k market price. Even dhruv has confirmed that.

If you have to buy a phone right now, don't look further than SGS1. Nothing comes close at 23k. Even when it was 27k, it was considered by many many over Desire HD and it also won smartphone of the year 2010 at GSMArena.
