2. less bloatware
3. good battery life
4. Faster charging (optional)

thanks.

I saw amazon price history , it never went down to 15k price. which website ?

also can you share the link ? I am missing somethign i guess. Its showing 24k now on amazon
It was available for almost this price just around a month back.

I'm thinking of buying a tablet as well. S6 Lite has never come below 20K on Amazon, as far as I can tell. Also, it has only 4 GB RAM, no 6 or 8 GB versions.

Most tablets with a 10 or 11 inch screen are heavy, or at least I find them heavy, especially if you hold them in your hand for an extended period of time while reading. Here's a comparison between S6 lite (2024), A9+ (2023) and A9 (2023):

A9 has an 8.7 inch screen, which is fine for me, and weighs less than the other tabs, but it does not have full HD resolution, it has 800 x 1340 pixels, 5:3 ratio (~179 ppi density) - while the other two have 1200 x 2000 pixels and above 200 ppi density. I need the tab mainly for reading, so will the text be clear on the A9? Or maybe the A9 has a lower resolution because it has a smaller screen?

While I was searching for a tablet, I came across this refurbished deal, A9+ 8GB RAM 128 GB Storage, for Rs. 15799, which is around 4-5K below the price of a new one. But I don't know anything about the sahivalue site, and also, the site says it gives brand warranty and at the same time states that the warranty expires on 07-09-2024 ??

S6 Lite goes on sale often for around 15k after 4-5k extra discount on card, don't know how you missed my post just above yours. Don't waste your money on such sites like sahivalue (first time even hearing about thsi site).

If you can get the Tab S9 FE at this price, it would be the best option

I did read your post, and then I checked the Keepa extension on Firefox, which gives price history, and it didn't show any price below 20K. If I can get it for 15K, that would of course be the best thing. I myself came to know of sahivalue only today. I've known of maxbhi and cellspare and cashify, but I've stayed away from these, except for cellspare from which I bought a phone battery once, but it didn't last a full year.

Again I checked the Keepa price history extension on Firefox and it shows the lowest price as 30,600.

I think these price drop deals are flash deals, and don't last long. Btw, where's the screenshot from?

About my earlier question, regarding the 800 x 1340 resolution of the A9, is there anyone here who is using a tablet with this resolution, who can comment on how the display is like, specially whether it is good for reading books or not?

That is expected, keepa does not show card discount offers over & above the listed price on amazon. Just keep an eye on s6 lite on amazon in this GIS sale as it is almost certain to have extra 4-5k sbi card discount over & above the sale price making its final price around 14.5-15k. Might even get S9 FE for around 20k on flipkart/amazon.

I got the Tab A9+ for 12k from a local shop. The shop was offering it for 18k sale price and another flat 6k off with HDFC credit card. I used another person's card for this.

I checked both the A9 and the A9+ and I found the A9's display to be a bit blurry, since it is not full HD (800x1340) and has 179 ppi. Anyone who wishes to buy the A9, please go and check the display for yourself before buying it.
I don't know if something is wrong with my eyes or what, but even the display of the A9+ seems a bit blurred. Maybe it is because it is 11 inches and has a ppi of 206, compared to the Tab A 10.1 2019 which I've used earlier, which had a 10.1 inch display with a ppi of 224.

My old Tab A 10.1 2019's display has gone bad (vertical lines and colour change and all). The Samsung showroom quoted a price of Rs. 8300 for a new display, while a local shop said Rs. 5000 for a duplicate display.

The site maxbhi is giving a display for 3k. I've never used this site before. Is it a good place to buy an LCD display? The manufacturer is listed as some Elcotek.
