the prob with del xcd is the "Battery" problem.

Many of us says android has 1 day battery but this phone is pathetic.

u may consider SAMSUNG GALAXY Y (But then It Low on resolution)

If Battery is not a major problem to u , Go for Dell XCD 35( superb Resolution)

Flipkart is From Where i bought , it took just 3 days.

recent stocks are of Gen 1

yup it Does work with Adobe Flash ,with Stock Firmware and with CyanogenMod Firmware

^^ Just a heads up. Idea has launched two android phones. One is called the Blade. I believe it must be the same phone. They have priced it at just under 8K but the ad mentions Rs 3500/- worth of 3G bundle. If you're an Idea customer, just take a look at this. It should be a steal even if you discount the bundle to its real value.

BTW any idea about its street price in mumbai

heard that it sells around 7500 in Bangalore

considering vat prices i think it mus be around 8k in Mumbai

a, yes, but you can always revert back to stock and dell will never know if you modded or not

b, if you mean that it will go kaput will flashing/modding with CM, don't worry it won't

c, yes, you can revert to stock anytime

d, it depends on the phone's hardware not software....look at specs if it supports....i guess it will support as android phones support cards upto 32 gigs

LG Optimus One is what i would suggest,u'll get it for 8.5K locally

XCD35 has some problems,dont consider that....

Plus u will get a great support for O1 with lots of custom ROMS to choose from...

I have both lg optimus one and dell xcd 35. Dell xcd is better for the screen,optimus one for the bigger build quality and bigger battery,But if you install custom roms battery of both phones barely lasts a day-if used heavily.flash works on both.More cases and covers available for lg optimus one.dell xcd,you have to hack cases-i use modded nokia e-72 cases and cut down galaxy s screen guards ,works fine.

16 gb cards work fine on both.

Quality better-optimus one

Screen for web browsing-dell xcd 35

Another major difference is that dell xcd 35 has a much louder speaker.Also dell xcd 35 has very puny buttons, difficult to press as i have large hands.but this problem may be solved with rooting and some custom software.
