Hi All.

I love small form factor PC's. So this comes are interesting for me. The ECS LIVA

1. Bay Trail Processor
2. eMMC or Embedded Multi-Media Card for storage
3. No Fans

What sucks though is external power bank. Which beats the purpose IMO.

I think Intel NUC's fare better.
 
The NUC uses an external power brick as well. It can't be avoided, since all the power electronics would take up half the space, plus its safer to isolate high voltage electronics away from low voltage signals. The only possibility is that with shrinking power requirements, the size of the power brick will shrink as well.
 
True. I wasn't saying that as a exclusive comment for the LIVA.

Just hoping at least this one would make it an INTERNAL one. Or at least we can use something like a phone charger for power. :)
 
But consider the brick size. It kinda does looks bigger than say my phone chargers. Don't know if that means something or not.
