need for a friend who is not much into computers but has a decent knowledge...

Purpose: mostly office work and watching movies and very light gaming
Price: as cheap as possible
User level: Moderate
Availability: need to buy within this month

Considerations:
should not be heavy...so 12inch wud b enuff
should not get too hot...
should be easily serviceable
Onboard Bluetooth/Wifi required
Dvd-writer
1GB ram would be enuff...
160GB Hdd...wont mind more if price diff not much
Vista a BIG NO NO...XP desired...even No OS wud do (*Jack Sparrow Edition)
Dont care abt Dedicated graphics...
Decent battery backup...

Support of HP sucks in India ,lappy i would say Toshiba , the build quality and support is better than HP ,i do agree Dell is good but then the latest laptops have lot of issues .what lappy are u actaully looking at and budget?
