Any exp with Big Bazaar Koryo DVD with HDMI?

I noticed Big Bazaar had a Koryo DVD player with HDMI
(cable included) for Rs 3.2K. Anyone tried this player?

It has a VGA out, so the appealing thing is that
I could use it with a LCD monitor till I get a LCD with HDMI.
There is no info in the manual about upscaling, which
is what I would be interested in.
 
Thanks! Any suggestions for a player with VGA out?
I want to hook it up to a LCD monitor and it would
be nice to avoid an extra external tuner box.
