if second, dont go for Vi please, my humble request ..
they will suck the happiness out of your life with the spam SMS and calls. even after having full dnd and a business postpaid plan, they will send you offers of deals and shits. It more annoying then the time i used to recived good-morning messages on whatsapp. I constantly send email/twitts to their management and grievance team.. 2-3 month spam will stop but then it wil return with double intensity.

airtel signal very weak inside my home, thats why im forced to have VI, which has slighlty better network ( but most of the time endup making facetime calls or call back with my landline)
I'm testing bsnl for 7-8 weeks now, and they are much better in compared to Vi ( call quality better, strong network inside home, absolutely no spam sms, and amazingly polite customer service. ) - the moment bsnl have 4g im going to port.

Odd, coz I don't get any calls from them. I do get sms regarding new pack or expiry of my pack or recharges but nothing too frequent. I have 4 Vi connections in my home btw. I am rather sick of spam calls by IIFL securities and Bajaj Finserv eager to provide me OD facility.

BSNL and "amazingly polite customer service" in the same sentence, wow I never thought this day would come but better late than never.

The BSNL service representatives are very polite nowadays and do seem to genuinely try to resolve the problems. I have experienced the same recently.

indeed it was a surprise for me as well.
My personal experience is exactly opposite to what i have heard about them since ages.
BSNL don't provide canned response. where as Vi instead of focusing on my issues they want me download their vi app and do self-service.
