iOS Anybody figured out a way to downgrade carrier settings on the iphone?

Using a stock phone and do not or will not jailbreak. Airtel pushed a carrier update and unknowingly I accepted it and my carrier settings got update. Now the problem is that I lose the ability to go back to EDGE or 2G more. The only options are 3G or LTE and both are killing my battery. Also call drops are more frequent.

Since you do not want to Jailbreak you are probably out of luck if there is no way to downgrade carrier settings.
Because if you jailbreak then using CCToggles you get ability to turn off 3G as well.

You can restore the firmware again and reject carrier settings update. That's what I did.
