Anybody has watched Battlestar Galatica

it's about humans in the distant furture who live on an unknown planet far from earth,they create a machine named cylon.what they do not know is that this machine has the capability of evolving and mutlplying and soon their planet is overrun by these cylons.only a few thousand of them r able to flee and now they r in search of their ancestral planet,earth.........
 
I remember seeing this movie a long time ago. I can still recall some of the scenes from it, especially the one at the end where the huge ship gets too close to the planet and great arcs of lightning (or whatever they were supposed to be) shoot between the two and they are destroyed. Another one is some creature which had these giant (I mean really giant) eyes that looked like big saucers.

@Aces, what do you mean by "downloaded a few episodes"?
