Camera Anybody have experience with cleaning Lens fungus?

Sadly my 50-250mm and 18-55mm canon lens have developed fungus. the zoom lens has a .7 cm fungus patch with some strands on the periphery while the kit lens has 5-6 dots.
Anybody have experience with dismantling the lens and cleaning or getting it cleaned? What is the cost involved for professional cleaning.
The camera and the lens are in warranty.
 
If you stay in Mumbai/near mumbai, you can get it cleaned at Reliable Cameras, Fort. They are pretty reliable and provides vfm services. Expect charges in range of 700-1000.
 
Why don't you first go to authorized service center and get their quote. Authorized service center should be your first preference.
 
Do they also deal with cellphone camera lenses? My phones cam has developed several dots. So upon capturing an image, the image has some greyish black dots.
 
gave it to a authorized collection point. That fellow said the lens has cracked :p and he was supposed to be a photographer :facepalm:. anyways convinced him that its not broken and gave it to him. Theya re going to send it to L1 service center in ahmedabad.
 
got a call and sms that the service has been done. went to the pick up center to get the camera and lens. they had not touched the 18-55. the fungus was still there. they had cleaned 55-250 partially with fungus still on edges of the lens. Also there were smudge marks from the chemical. talked to them on phone and again sent the lens. Lets see what do they do this time.
