Anyone using WDTV Live as a http/torrent download box on Brad's WDLXTV firmware Help

Got a WD TV Live this week.

Any guide on how to use it as a download (http & torrent) box using BRad's WDLXTV Live firmware ?

I have already flashed the firmware. Any idea how to move forward from that.
Any pointers on how to harness the full power of the firmware will help :)

how much was the wdtv live? can you watch youtube tv on it?

Gt it from amazon for arnd 105$ or so. Didn't try youtube yet

I got one for a buddy for $99. I hate to wait and watch for amazon to have it in their own stock, but i had time till the person bringing it back was set to leave for india.

It's a decent player, haven't used it much but seems a little limited with the configurability. Very good quality output.

Which version of firmware are you using? I have 0.4.2.0 and it uses deluge as torrent client(newer fw versions have rtorrent). Thread details the basic steps to configure deluge. GTK UI is lot better in comparison to the web UI, thread mentions the steps to configure deluge webkit UI on a windows machine

DownloadDaemon is good for http as well as RS/MU downloads, again the windows client is lot more functional than the web ui
