Why is the fan spinning so slow even at heavy load?
I bought this as a combo from person who hasn't even cleaned it once and was very dusty and grimy.
Should I just replace the fan with a chassis fan?
Btw it has 4 pin port and chassis fan is 3 pin

Have you checked fan speed settings and cpu fan curve in bios?

Also check if it is set to pwm mode or dc mode in bios since it is 3 pin.

If I set it to dc mode it completely stops rotating and rpm is around 270-300

Set to dc mode and setup a fan curve. Most of the mobos have automatic fan curve, so we just have to enable it.
