Laptops Are 2 laptops better than 1?

I recently bought a dual core Compaq laptop. But primarily for home use (use: from internet to movies etc). But supposing I could afford it (say abt 20-22k), would it be a good idea to buy another laptop for office work (which I could take to the office and back)?

No not heavy, but somewhat expensive (at 26K) and 15.4 inch. i was thinking of keeping home and office seperate (as in data and applications). i can carry this laptop around with almost no issues. but was just wondering if a cheap 14 incher for 20k for dedicated office use would be a good investment.

bad idea...aint gonna be lighter by a considerable range...

had u been a desktop user then the question of mobility wud have come...u already own a lappy...use it...hope u got the lappy considering the mobility part of it...and ur oder lappy is like only 3-4k cheaper..so economy wise to save that 3k bucks u have to buy a 22k lappy..no way

If you really want something light and ultraportable get the Asus EEE PC for 16k , that should be worth going for

if you'd gotten one of those behemoths with power hungry onboard gfx which weighed a ton, then you could have gotten something else. right now , this wont make much difference i think
