Graphic Cards Ati Silencer Fan - turns off in between automatically

Hi Guys

My Ati Sil. Rev 2 fan after some time automatically switches off.

I switch off my system and as i turn on after the card is cooled the

Fan again starts spinning.

Feel like due to heat , this is making me worry a lot.

As i dont wanna risk my X800XL i have temporarily also put a Panaflo 92mm

on the Ati Silencer.

Guys whats the reason behind this strange bahaviour.

Tried it at Funkies place it was working fine but not for more than 5 mins.

After more than 1 Hr at my place the Fan stopped spinning then i immediately shut my comp.

And removed and Cooled my GPU by holding it in front of the table fan.

Stormy too had tried my GPU he too experienced the same issues

Guys help me whats going wrong.
 
seems like the fan is dyin out on ya,is it under warranty ? RMA it :D

card seems to be fine else u wudnt have display at all/improper colored display.

IF the card has been bought from abroad,throw the fan n buy a new one for under 1k.
