.....Add-in board partners will, of course, influence pricing depending on the bundles they decide to package with their products. However, we expect X1xx pricing will fairly rapidly adjust, squaring up to or sandwiching between NVIDIA's products.

Yes, that indeed is going to be the pricing for the ATI products.

We will try to ensure that partners maintain the same prices. However Limited Editions and Turbo-Charged cards made by our partners will carry a premium.

price look very high. X1800 XL how many pipeline card?
now 7800GT is 350$ :clap:
 
ya 18xx series must outperform 78xx series...

in performance and price as well..

does this launch willl reduce price of existing models....

like 800 or 850XT PE ?????

will be intresting fight between Nvidia and ATI.....
 
Yep. The MSRP for 7800GT is also 449$ but street prices are generally around 350$, same will be in the case of the x1800xl, prices will come down once sales pick up.

sales should go up............

it depends on performance and mainly on avalilability....

they should make those cards so easlily avalible like 7800 series...
