PC Peripherals Audioengine AE2

Look good but sounds like all boom!

Pricey too for close to 9k, I'd wait for a demo before thinking of picking these over a 5021.

Edit : @ bottle - Seriously? :O, nice, I'd be really glad if somebody could post back how good they are specially mid and high reproduction, no issues with the bass whatsoever! :D

i havent heard it anish but i think these are in another league when compared to the mx5021. especially if its based on the A5

AudioEngine web site claims that its based on AE5.

@bottle, I remember you enquiring in another forum about the indian price and if its available under 10k, you are about to buy. So when is the Purchase date ? :p

Damn these look sweet, I'm anyways looking for speakers for a mini studio I'm building and a lotta the review claim their almost as good as entry level powered studio monitors! :O

Any clue as to availability and pricing bottle?

^ The Wharfedale's are not powered speakers, i.e. they will need a stereo amp to run, which is an additional 7-20k.

Never heard the Pro Media 2.1's or AE2, though I'm eagerly looking forward to an AE2 demo or review (from bottle :p)
