There is a flaw in the system. Athough I welcome the new feature of automatically merging the posts in order to avoid bumping but it should have a maximum time frame of 30 minutes.

It becomes an issue in sections like Hot Deals, where when I am feeling a need to bump a thread after say 6 hours, I am not being allowed to do so because my post is being merged with the previous one. Kindly rectify this.

^Its definitely not couple of hours, I am not being able to bump a thread even after 7 hours now.

Also note that the posts not falling into the category below will be deleted and action will be initiated against the member:

* Time Bump - Only the seller (or his specified representative in his absence) can bump the thread but no sooner than 24 hours since the last post

* Price Bump - The seller (or his specified representative in his absence) can update the price with a new post

o The sum of the number of price-bump and time-bump should not exceed one in a period of 24 hours. TE is not a reverse auction site either. So use your bump wisely.

24 hours it is. how many times do you need to bump :S. if everyone starts bumping every couple of hours TE will become even more of a fish market :no:
 
I still feel it should be couple of hours. And what about other sections? Suppose I want to bump a query thread, what than? I am not quite sure what the time frame for bumping is in other sections so correct me if I am wrong here.
 
The merge problem is not for the Normal Members market section, it's for every other section including DP and HD. I cannot post an update about my thread for 24 hours, even if it is urgent. Same for HD. A couple of hours will be OK, but not 10-12 Hours.
 
^ Shripad had already asked the Admins to disable it in the DP zone. Check and see if its working, if not let us know.

Other sections we definitely do not want people bumping within 24 hours.
 
the post count limit in market for starters.. it still lists 35posts..

will post as soon as i encounter..

also there was one signature related issue regarding udit being infracted..suppose that must have been changed.

I think it's still there ,but time limit is 3-4 hours iirc. Will check and tell you.
