FYI....

Dont know why you have a problem with AVG downloads.... but I did a fresh install of AVG yesterday and I must have downloaded about 15mb of updates for AVG FREE without a problem.
 
Dude its over a month now...

I am worried that my comp may get infected in future.

Any idea what to do.

I also tried reinstalling
 
OT : is AVG ranked really good...or is it popular because it is free..:huh: , my older pc was not very good with AVG...thats why i ask (P-4 2.2,512MB ram)
 
Its good plus its free thats the reason its one of the highly recommended one.

I have been using AVG for a while now...

It has been working great all this time but suddenly it went kaput...

Can anyone help me out

have even disabled my firewall to check if it was preventing it from be been updated.

Could it be a problem with your ISP ?

When I cannot download a file with my Hathway BB conx often there is no problem with the download when I try with a MTNL Dial UP conx. This happens very often with the AD Aware updates. :S

Uninstalled it

waited for 2 days..

Downloaded the new version

and now it works like a charm

god knows what the damm problem was...
