Their toothbrush and Dant Kanti (toothpaste) are much cheaper than the competition. Not only that, Dant Kanti is made from natural materials and is unlike any other toothpaste I had used before. I just can't go back to using other toothpastes now. I have seen a tendency of slightly older people being loyal to a fault but I have found their products to be at par and generally cheaper than the competition. I didn't however like the hypocrisy when he has started selling biscuits etc. because when he teaches Yoga he tells people to eat healthy and stay away from comfort food like that. He may say they are healthier than their counterparts but they still belong to a category of food which he was strongly against. The products that really are his forte are the Ayurvedic medicines. High consumption of Allopathic medicines can lead to degradation of internal organs and even lifestyle diseases like Diabetes. Ayurvedic medicines for common diseases are much better although they might take some time to show their effect. Proper Patanjali stores are run by trained Ayutvedic doctors and many people have benefitted from proper Ayurvedic treatments including one of my close relatives who was suffering from Cancer. Unfortunately, with BJP coming into power all I see these days is the talk of Hindutva and I really feel scared that we might be going bavkwards rather than forward in the coming years.
