Backblaze just posted their latest hard drive statistics on their blog.
As usual, nothing is really readily apparent. You have to actually analyze the data to form certain conclusions, and even then, can't really say X brand/drive is better than Y, these days. One thing's for sure, Seagate is doing much better these days.
On another note, while the best bang for the buck seems to be 12TB or even 14TB drives in the USA, here it still seems to be 8TB. I just bought one from amazon.in for almost the exact same price as i did two years ago from amazon.com.
