Bad company 2 update problem

Ok received my copy of the game now.

Now, where can I find the patch? Is it only available thru the game executable or is there a separate download somewhere? I cant find it..

EDIT:
Ok, now the game wont update.... It downloads the files but after half an hour or so, says that the file was not found..... What sems to be the problem here?

I am using windows 7 64 bit on the hardware mentioned in mmy signature

Hey can you people share your EA ids here, so that we can play online together?

Better is to add the game as a "non-steam game" into steam so that you can ask the ID on the fly with your steam friends once you join the two indian BFBC2 steam groups :D

Btw, are the servers down intermittently since a couple of days ? Getting Unable to contact EA servers. :|
 
I havent face any such problems anish, but they do mention that a small percentage of people are facing the problem. should be fine after this weekend..

And BTW, I have added you both to my account. Let me know when you both are online
