This, without a doubt is the best smartphone you can get inside 10k. LG has released Optimus Net to replace Optimus One. If you are, then go get this one along with an extra battery. And btw, forget about LG’s past reputation. They nailed it with this one.

This brings us to an end to sub-10k market segment. Here is a short list of other worthy sub 10k smartphones:
  1. LG Optimus Net (successor to Optimus One)

#desiibond

First of all, awesome post! Must have taken good amount of time to come up with nicely formatted post like this. Really appreciate the effort!

I have couple of suggestions -

Lumia 710 should have been the runner up instead of HTC Chacha

And iPhone 4 instead of BB Bold 9900

I heard people praising Neo v on TE what happened to that?

smacked by Xpeia pro. pro is better than neo V in many ways and price diff aint much.

[sup]@desiibond [/sup]

[sup]Good work bro
<
... just one query -- you have the Optimus black but no O2x in the list
<
[/sup]

not easily available, lag and freeze issues, flipkart says 'permanently discountinued'

Actually the Lumia 710's audio quality is quite decent.

check this: http://st.gsmarena.com/vv/reviewsimg/nokia-lumia-710/gsmarena_a001.png

You could have formatted it better and posted it on the portal. Hope you have read this -> http://www.techencla...r-of-the-month/

ah. checking.

so, how do I move this to 'portal' so that it can be part of AOTM contest.

why that overpriced piece of shit?

The same can be said of BB 9900. After all it (The ray) costs just 2-3k more then live with walkman, comes with a much better screen,Camera and looks much better subjectively. Even has the Xloud thing I think

BTw very nice post. But I think This should have been in the "Guides" or the "Mobile phones" section. Because unless It is made sticky , "Buying advice" is for the new phone Buyers to post respective queries...

Thank you. What extra does Ray offer when compared with O:Black or Defy or Xperia Pro? Also, do note that 15k-20k segment is crowded with lot of smartphones. had to keep LG Optimus Sol, Nokia Belle phones, neo v, BBs etc out of the list as it can turn the list messy

What about the SE Xperia Arc .. its a valid contender too ..

Arc is discontinued and Arc S price is around 28k which makes it worthless. Even if you search hard, you can get Arc for 22k-23k and at that price, Galaxy R is available which is better in every aspect except rear camera and display panel.

Good post.
