Budget 41-50k Basic laptop, good battery life, light weight.

Hello all..
Need help on suggesting a good laptop for a student. Do pour in with your relevant suggestions..


Usage: Will be used by an MBA student. So at max will be used for Powerpoint presentation/Surfing/HD movies
Budget: 40 - 50k (Not an issue. Can be stretched beyond that as well)
Preferred screen size: 14"
Config preference: i5/4GB/500GB
Other considerations: Good battery backup, Backlit keyboard, prefer it to be light weight.

Brand preference: None. (Ideally would like to keep Lenovo at bay, but again, not any hard n fast rule.)


Looking forward to some good suggestions soon.

my room mate is also looking for the same solution
he shortlisted somethiing from lenovo though
mind telling the laptops you shortlisted
