Finally all the OP wants is that the seller should take back the stuff ...that was the thread for. Plz dont refund him ...it will set up a bad precedent in future. He can put it back in market section if he wants to

Its like my fuse in the house have burnt and I would order it online and want the stuff in 3 hours rather than going to the nearest electrical shop and getting it within an hour. Will either the elctrical shop/online shop take back the item because you have a double item of both. Tell me how did u expect to have the stuff in hand very next day within 24 hours of payment ? Your expectation is wrong ....even though the seller agreed to ship it fast...min time frame for outstation shipping is 2-3 days.

I made clear that Please ship today itself by dtdc + service so I can receive with flight service in a day and he agreed.

If you laid that out as a term before you closed the deal by making payment and he agreed, then he was obligated to ship you the item the same day. If you closed the deal first (by paying) and then you asked him to ship the item the same day, then its merely a request from your side which he may agree to consider, but he has no obligation to keep it.

Is that wrong if I expected seller to communicate to me?

No there is nothing wrong in expecting the seller to communicate.

Is it not duty of seller to pick call or call back when he sees there are missed calls?

No he has no obligation to pick your calls or call back after seeing missed calls. It is merely a courtesy that you can expect from him. He has every right to choose not to respond to your calls at an inconvenient time and I guess he did respond to you when it was convenient.

I cant believe that dtdc has not updated the records in 48 hrs and the shipping takes 2 days. The shipping is from kerala to karnataka and with plus service it takes overnight.

I got a package from Hyd to Chandigarh within 18 hours via DTDC and a package from Delhi took more than 5 days of which the first 2 days, the number given to me was not even entered into their tracking system. Just this very week, I got a package from Delhi yesterday and when I was provided the tracking number on Monday morning. So yeah, there is nothing hard and fast about courier services. Even with the premium priority services, they have fine print saying that they are not obligated to deliver you the package with in said time.

Did i ever say that Jeff has cheated me on this thread?

And yes I was wrong in posting the phone number online. Do not take this to your heart. The idea behind the thread was to find somebody who can help me in contacting you.

Guys am still confused why people have used works like newbie, chor etc etc in this forum. Did i ever say that Jeff has cheated me on this thread? We including me can be more polite and choosy in our language.

I too have purchased goods worth lakhs on internet and I am not in the age group as somebody has wrote ;-). Was thinking who would be the most senior member on internet .

Hopefully Jeff will call me and I would request him to take the item back if possible.

i said the above things in general, means that still the general perspective of people in india and has nothing to do with u or jeff here , i never called anyone chor here ,

i only said thats wat people think , my statement shud be read in good humor and totally out of context to this thread , still cudn't resist the urge to post this here

i once bought few things for my friend online coz i told him that u cud save some 500-700 bucks , he agreed to it and i made the purchase for him online and as luck wud have it , the shipment got delayed due to some unforseen reasons , and he started blaming me, that its ur fault and like other things :rofl:

MohitPreet : Sure will take your comments in good humour. I have seen many people making personal comments so misunderstood your comments.

Request everybody to do a bit to keep this forum equal to all than making it a sellers market and let the buyer beware. This was visible in comments made by many senior members so thought of mentioning my feelings about it.
