TN Panel

TN is the cheapest panel type and typically (the good ones) have the fastest response times. However, the display is pretty lousy at any viewing angle other than straight-on and typically only in horizontal mode.

PVA, MVA, IPS and their variants are much better in this regard, but cost a whole lot more, have slower response times and tend to use overdrive techniques to reduce ghosting, but sometimes this itself can lead to artifacting.

And most importantly, it is a 16:9 ratio monitor!!

So they lop off a few pixels, still call it a 22inch and and price it in the 22inch range. I do not like where the monitor manufacturers are heading. (The same with the Dell S2409W!)

I don't mind the 16:9 ratio, but the pricing should be proportionally lower.
