Best Android phone for app development/testing in india for under 15k rupees?

What about galaxy ace..?Keep in mind its for development/testing...Or should i wait for the New Samsung Nexus..though that might cost 5k more..?Would there be any serious benefit with the Nexus as far as development is concerned?
Also what about moto defy..?Though dont think there are any motorola service centres in my city.
and what about Sony Ericsson live with Walkman?

Samsung Galaxy Nexus would cost ~35k @ launch.

You can buy a Samsung Nexus S instead. Its again available in vodafone stores for ~ 20k. ICS is already available for it and it might also get the next version of Android.

Its better to go with google phones for development and testing.

if you wanna stick to your budget, then defy or galaxy sl will be your best solution, if you can spare, then nexus S will be the best for your purpose IMO

Best option would be the Nexus S , at that budget.. why don't you look at the Micromax A85 ? Tegra 2 proc at 14k !

Look for atleast a wvga screen if you are in app development as most android phones in the future will have atleast that resolution.

As a fellow aspiring developer, I suggest you stick to nexus range of phones.

I suggest increase your budget slightly and go for a nexus s. It should be available at around 19000 INR

Really? How does the Neo V vs Nexus S hardware compare? Isn't the Nexus S an older phone?

I know that's it's a highly regarded phone, but just wondering about HW capability... say for Android 3D game/demo development.
