Best camera within 20k.. ?

Hi all,

As the title says i am looking for a camera less than 20k.

1) I want the best image quality possible at that price point.

2) 10X optical zoom minimum

3) Good nightshots.

4) Size doesnt matter much.

I have currently shortlisted

Panny fz28 and Panny TZ7

can anyone suggest which one to get out of them both. If there is any other better model also plesae suggest it.

Also how is panny service in india ?
 
I just googled and read the reviews that came up.

Most of them seem to rate Fz28 over Sx10 IS

and also i want to know about TZ7 any one using it ?
 
Both the FZ28 and the TZ7 are extremely good cameras and have received excellent reviews.

I would go with the TZ7 simply because its much more compact than the FZ28 and because it can record videos in AVCHD format.

The FZ28 would be better than the TZ7 only if you shoot too many photos in low light without a flash. If that's the case & since you don't mind a large camera you can go for the FZ28.

Edit: In terms of Image Quality alone I would suggest the FZ28 over the TZ7. But as a complete package I would prefer the TZ7.

Thanks for the reply..Both these camera's not available in HYD sadly.. :( anyone from Hyd can you help me with the shop where i can get these camera's
 
bought the TZ7/ZS3 4 days bck 4m singapore for 19k.
trust me its the best cam under 20k.
shoots excellent videos and superb images. took a few pics of the 1st rains in mumbai wit it n was delighted wit the clarity.
got a 8gb sd card with it too.
