Graphic Cards Best card for 10K

Guys a good buddy of mine wants an ATI (only ATI :P ) card... He's got a budget of 10K max.. and doesn't mind a second hand card also...(no OC'ed pieces please:bleh: )...

So either new or second hand suggest something for me...memory 256 MB not less...:P

I'm hard to satisfy and so are my friends....:tongue:
 
If u can get the GTO 2 then nothing like it. Otherwise the only worthwile option is the x800 GT 256 MB. I think the GTO 256 MB is above 10k but if u can get that also at a good price then go for it. Or would someone recommend a x1600 card?(pro mind you, xt is also > 10k)

Thanks for those options... btw haven't read much about the GTO.. Is GTO and GTO 2 the same?? Any links please... Are these more powerful than my X800XT? Wouldn't want the bu**** to have a more powerful card... not until I'm ready to upgrade that is..:ohyeah:

btw any IQ links X1800XT vs X1900XT??

7800GTX vs 7900GTX.... please no fps only links.... primary interest is IQ and only IQ...:P

Nope, GTO is 12 pipelines. GT0^2 is also 12, but can be unlocked to 16 pipes with a bios upgrade and can be OC'ed to x800xt speeds. So the GTO^2 is out then i guess :P . Check Anandtech, they had some good articles abt these. Don know abt the latter part of ur post tho, but its essentially the same i guess. IQ will be same for x1800xt and x1900xt and also for 7800 GTX and 7900 GTX as the 7900 is just a die shrink of the 7800.

Edit: Btw which one are u buying x1900? ;)
