I have this following config:

CPU: i5 2500K @ 4.5GHz O.C.
MOB: Z68XP-UD3R.
RAM: G.SKILL 32GB 1600MHz.


I want to update my config....

i7 3770K with Z77 or X79 with i7 39xx


I am little bit confused!!!! But I am sure to not using the 3960X for a huge price...
 
What is wrong with your current set-up that you want to go for Ivy-Bridge?

Wait for Haswell OR Broadwell to show up.
 
like others have already said, your setup is very good and upgarding to ivy bridge wont result in significant boost to real world perfomance...
