Sorry for the hijack even i am on look out for 16GB but only corsair. Sick and tired of crappy speeds from sandisk, transcend and the others.

#Vince any help here?

I guess the least atm is Rs.650 for Sandisk Cruzer Blade at buytheprice.com. Its listed for Rs.800 but when u add to the cart, u get an additional discount of Rs.150.

But as mentioned by others, its having poor read/write speeds.

Use a 100 off 400 coupon which you can get from freecharge.in. Final price comes to 749 -100 = 649 Rs shipped.

As already mentioned by many users, this has poor read/write speeds, but is also the cheapest. I have the 8GB version of this and get around 4.5MB/s write speed during large file transfer.

There are a lot of other options if you are willing to spend 150-200 more.

I just ordered one from Tradus for 799/- (COD - Shipping free). Its a Sandisk 16GB.

Could not find any better deal. Again this I just needed for using it ocassionally(OS installations). My next drive will definately be a USB 3.0 only.

i am also looking....how is the Transcend 16GB JetFlash V700 USB 3.0 Drive? (some say bad/some say good)...any1 have any personal experience with these?

ok update ,..just ordered one Transcend 16GB JetFlash V700 USB 3.0 Drive from flipkart for 1157... cant guess about the product or the deal in actual!

Got this today , build good, performance satisfactory ...average real world write speed hovering between 16-20 mbps on my pc's usb 2.0 ports ,....that's ok/fine with me !

^^ yes,...someone else here found the same > http://www.techencla...ost__p__1616846

...the only difference is that my Speed are found as in real life situations of writing( read transferring) small & big video files/movies to this particular transcend pen drive, unlike all other synthetic speed tests done by other members!. Ok,1more thing, i left something else unsaid..i found the transfer/writing speeds happening in the Fat32 file format which the pendrive comes in by default,...as i'm yet to try out transfers in the NTFS format!.
