Graphic Cards best extenal cooler for 6600gt agp

hi

i got a new leadtek 6600gt agp 128 mb card.

it idles at 48 to 49 and on load it reaches 85 degrees.

so i am unable to overclock it.

i am looking for a cheap external cooler so that i can try and overclock my card.

U want a cheap external cooler, get a decent fan or a couple of fans and attach them inside ur cabby blowing air onto the graphics card.
 
I have an Antec VCool for sale - as good as new, used for a couple days. You will get the fan in retail packaging with warranty/bill. PM if you're interested.

Yup, the easiest solution to try first. Worked on my 6600GT. Reduced temps by around 8-10'C at load.

Also, like hunt3r suggested, get a couple of fans such that air circulation in the cabinet is proper.

Investing in a external cooler is not worth it imo, for your particular case. 85'C isnt too high a temperature. The above steps can reduce it to around 75'C at load which is good enough for a 6600GT coz it runs pretty hot. Nway, go for an external cooler only if you are that obsessed with getting a good overclock on the card.
