Hi Guys,

I am getting a lappy for my brother. Now I want the best configuration available under 60k. Now I have 2 options :

1. Purchase from India ( Get the Local warranty )

2. Get it from US via my cousin.
Please suggest which option do you think is best. If there is not a major price difference, I guess it will be better to get it from India?

Say NO to HP! Its a Plague!!! Ultra Cheap HArdware components - 1 component in laptop wil go kaput evry 6 months.

Jst look at DELL, ASUS, SONY. Period.

Heard that Asus has intl. warranty. will confirm this soon. (Evn im having the same two options as u r n m researching for d same)

2nd: Same problem as above (7th month)

I don't know but HP seems value for money to me.

Intel Core 2 Duo P8600 2.4G, 16", 6GB DDR2, 500GB HDD, NVIDIA GeForce 9600M GT for 60k. Isn't this good? It looks damn sexy too.

^ i think this is the best buy deal that you are talking about,

for your kind information,

this does not come with any ASUS warranty, although it does come with 1 year best buy warranty.

newegg`s ASUS G50VT-X1 for 1299$ is a much better deal.

for 400$ you get a better processor, better HDD and most importantly 2 year ASUS protection
