man for all the stuff you have asked for its hard especially for the Photoshop you need a budget of atleast 25k

CPU: Athlon II X4 630 ~ 4.9k (A quad is better for ur requirements)
Motherboard: Biostar A785GE ~ 3.4k
RAM: 4GB(2*2) Kingston 800MHz DDRII RAM ~ 4.9k (Its better to go with 4GB RAM for the intended usage)
HDD : 500GB WD Blue ~ 2.1k
Cabby: Zebronics/ I-Ball cabby w/o SMPS ~ 1k
PSU: FSP SAGAII 400w ~ 2k/ Gigabyte Superb 460 ~ 2.2k
DVD R/W: LG OEM GH22NS50 ~ 1k
GPU: MSI 512MB GDDR3 GTS250 ~ 6.4k (softmodding it will help i guess) Else wait for the Graphic designer Pros to comment on which GPU is best for the intended usage.
Total: ~25k

I don't think you need a solid animation PC, as Photoshop, Coral Draw are not memory intensive and graphics intensive...

ANgel has suggested youa very good PC, but it will remain under utilised if you won't perform good rendering job..

you can go for a basic pc config with few good components like
CPU: Athlon II X3 435 ~ 3.6k
Motherboard: Biostar A785GE ~ 3.4k (Go for DDR2 supported board and no onboard graphics)
RAM: 2GB(1*2) Kingston 800MHz DDRII RAM (Can upgrade it to 4GB also)
HDD : 500GB WD Blue ~ 2.1k
Cabinet: Zebronics Bijili -- 1100
PSU/SMPS: ---- FSP SAGAII 350w
GPU: Not required for your purpose.

This is a general purpose PC which can be used for s/w like photoshop, coral graphics etc...

Yeah the hard disk is good enough for day to day usage but if you want better I can only suggest search for a External disk with ESata connectivity

and yes get one with an adaptor how else do you intend to plug the thing for juice, unless you don't mind spending a couples hundreds extras

Man why are you opting for DDR 2 memory do you want this guy to get looted next time he wants a RAM upgrade, DDR II standard is now past and now a GB stick of 800 MHz DDR II costs 2K in S.P. Bangalore last I checked and is par with standard DDDR III modules so why pay extra for outdated standards

ohk so do we need a connector for esata like USB port

my frd doesnt have one

and DDR 2 memory

well its almost outdated

so i think i agree with ALPHA17

i have 2gb trans ddr2

and want new stuff

as it will take 4 years more to finish my studies and get job

and srt earning myself

till then wat ever my parents give i have to take that

This is really nice !
i had the same in mind !
you can go for a 4850 if you are tight on budget !
but 4850 is more power hungry and noisy than gts 250 ! but costs around 1.5k less . so its upto you !
by the way a gts 250 / 4850 would rock at your resolution !
if you are thinking of gts 250 then better go for a 5750 hd
dx 11 same performance just 500-1k costly !
:)

Yeah you are right. But DDR3 today is costlier and also not make big difference with the setup mentioned. Also Mobo with DDR3 is also costlier... :(
If someone want to upgrade, then definitely have to do so with processor and ram both, not just with ram.

Yes man ESATA has a dedicated port which is different from USB

Hello a bit expensive today cheaper tomorrow think of the future man not present and no these days DDR II and DDR III based setups have almost the same price except in the premium market segment where the RAM and mobo are expensive'

Price difference in Mobo is less than 1k so its worth it RAM prices almost at par
