Best S/W for DVD-9 Compression

I need to know which S/W is the best to compress a DVD-9 to a DVD-5 without too much loss in quality. My friend has a DVD-9 which has 4 movies ( Size - 7.6 GB ). Need to compress it to a DVD-5.

I use Nero Recode. It's part of the Vision Express Suite.
