Hello Friends,

I am don't know much about AMD systems.

Can someone advice which is the best value motherboard for AMD X2 4000 /4200 range cpus?

Must be able to replace fast in case some problem happens.

Cost range ~3000/-

Hello Friends,

I see that ur from mumbai , so if u are buying ASUS , the above sentence doesn't hold true  ....stick to anything except asus , no doubt the asus board is good , but then incase anything is to go wrong the service sux.

man asus service sux everywhere i think, they do not have replace warranty ... it is repair warranty, they will rma only if they cannot repair ... had a very bad experience with M2N4 SLI in Calcuta. you will have to take the mobo to their workshop and keep calling for at least 15 days to get any result.

see dude if ur frm bombay ask the TE dealers for the Mobo u want and im sure they'll give a good after sales server to a fellow TE member.

Hi,

I thought Asus is a great brand - i.e., without negative marks :) You people seems to have practically observed them.

Anyway I am a Mumbai user, so may be it will be easier for me ?

Will check for Gigabyte 690g s2 also and go through all opinions before purchasing...

Thanks for your opinions...

Hey dude,

Go for ASUS M2A-VM. It's a good board & is very stable.
However i am not sure of the service. In Bangalore as per my experience, ASUS service is good.

If at all u don't want to buy ASUS,
Buy a Biostar TA690G-M2 & u won't repent it. Biostar is known for it's T series & these are good overclockers as well. I didn't find this board when i bought my new proc, so i had to go for my 2nd option ASUS.

Still, I am happy wid d board but miss the T series coz i had all my mind & heart on dat board. U will find tons of reviews of Biostar & it wins everywhere.

Try for BIOSTAR, if u don't get it go for ASUS. :)
