To all members, don't buy any stuff from xonar his actual name is rajat parihar, he cheated me on forum (E) by not sending the actual product he listed, after receiving the amnt. for the item he will not send u the actual product he listed after receving the product u realize u have been cheated after that he neither responds to messages or he does not refund ur amnt. so beware of this seller if any one wants evidence they can verify on forum (E) his user name on other
forum is rajat parihar, after that incident he joined TE, so
members don't lose ur hard earned money beware!
His username here is (xonar) and on forum (E) is rajat parihar.
His contact Nos.are,
09219084956

You have one post in all of TE, in the six months that you are a member. This one.

How are we to trust your feedback?

You have not listed the product. You have not linked the sale or the dispute threads. You provide no proof of his deceit.

Sure you got cheated, but did you keep your records properly? You're going to need to be a little more specific - and let us know his username here. If you don't know his nick at TE, this thread is useless.

Edit: Is this the guy you're referring to? http://www.techenclave.com/members/xonar.html

Can you explain whole incident in more details? Like what you have ordered, thread link, etc. I am planning to buy X2 CPU from him.

If you are having a problem with another member you should contact the appropriate mod first. It is not considered appropriate to start posting negative remarks and information about other members. Please contact a mod and try to figure out a resolution and stop posting these types of derogatory statements or I will consider it spam and act on it accordingly. ;)

This section is for constructive criticism, and intelligent feedback related to the Market.

@OP

I went through the entire thread at the other forum and by the looks of that thread it looks like the person in question here is trying to get his way out by unlawful means but since this is your very first post, people are skeptical about this whole issue.
But one thing is for sure, damage has been done to the so called seller and i see people here too will be utmost cautious in dealing with the concerned person.

I can atleast confirm, that he has cheated on the other forum, and the final resolution was that Rajat Parihar would refund money but he has even failed to do so. I can also confirm that xonar is Rajat Parihar , whether TE mods should do something about or not that is completely different........

I went to the market section and saw a few FS threads by the person in question. Now this guy has 22 posts and still was able to open thread in market section ?
How come it is possible ??? :S

This conversation is somewhat of a moot point since nothing actually occurred here on the TE Market section, but another forum. Unfortunately, while there may have been unfair practices going on (or not) it does not seem appropriate to take any steps other than paying attention to the involved individuals with relation to their future actions here at TE.

If the same situation were to arise here at TE, I am sure that the involved individuals would be treated with the proper attention they deserve.

Cant agree with this, why should we wait for another such issue to happen on TE before any action is taken
One of the highly reputed TE member has claimed that the person in question has indeed cheated, so it cant be untrue
Atleast a blacklisting should be done to prevent such further occurrences

Prevention is better than cure.

I dont see why the mods are saying he is clean here so let it be. He cheated a guy. isnt that enough? He is that type. proven. Not some philosopher making theorems here, a guy's money is gone.

So waiting for someone here to fall too?

I was actually going to post something on similar lines as m-jeri put here. Prevention is indeed better than cure and we don't want our fellow members to fall in this trap. It does not matter if the concerned person claims to be clean (may be in future), we cannot deny the facts (presented on other forum) and although this thing never happened on TE, it does not mean we turn a blind eye to it.

^^ I don't understand that view. If the member is confirmed to have done something wrong in another forum then don't the people here also deserve to know (especially considering how much these transactions rely on trust)? Not everyone would have seen this thread after all, and the guy has 100% +ve feedback atm.

We're looking into the issue and have temporarily closed his threads. In the meantime, if the OP and/or xonar can clarify what ultimately happened with the earlier deal, we can accordingly take action.

In the FS threads in the market section, one can see that xonar is Rajat Parihar. However he has a rating of 1. Perhaps he is the same way, perhaps he has changed his ways, this is the real question. Only the Mods can take a call on this.

I dont know if I am the right person to answer this question but as a mod on the other forum and a wellwisher of both the forums, I can say that Xonar intentionally tried to cheat buyers by giving wrong model no. of the item he was selling(which was confirmed by Sale thread logs and some PMs exchanged with other potential buyers letting him know that the model sold is not whats mentioned). When the buyer ie. cd realised it after recieving his item, he tried to talk to xonar(maybe not in a nice tone) after which Xonar said he is not going to return the money after which buyer contacted mods and created a thread, Mods checked the whole issue tried to intervene by asking Xonar to return the money, very very reluctantly he agreed to do so, but a month has passed and no money has been deposited.

He would have been banned anyway because of his intentional fraud but were hoping that he would return the money and then will go ahead with the extreme measure.......

P.S : Rajat, gave a warning to you, Delhi is a small place and moreso Internet, I will even tell Saini and BYOC organisers (though nothing would happen with that but atleast people around you would know). I guess there is still time, return the money and I am sure you can atleast continue on TE.
