Graphic Cards BIG v/s XFX/Leadtek

In terms of the price BIG cards are definitely better than XFX and Leadtek

7600GT BIG - 10990
7600GT XFX - 12700

7600GS BIG/Leadtek - 7000
7600GS XFX - 8600

As you notice there is a considerable gap, especially in the GS segment. The only question is the performance and the support. Can anyone comment about this ? Would it be better to go for the BIG brand to save a few bucks ?
 
Plz check the clock speeds of all the cards ! XFX are genrally clocked at Higher speeds giving them a natural performance Gain ! I dont Know much abt BIG coz I have never used a BIG card before but frm wat I Have Heard these cards performance compared to other cards r poor and there support also sucks !

In The end XFX and Leadtek r definately better cards then BIG , so now it is ur decision ..... If u dont mind spending a 1000 bucks more, then definately buy a XFX card but if u r on a Budget then a BIG card will do ! :)
 
Get a Leadtek or XFX, they're more solid... historically, BIG has a high failure rate, not sure about 7-series cards though. My advice would be not to cut corners for a couple 1000's if you're looking for a reliable solution... there's a saying "you get what you pay for" which holds true here :)
 
i agree with rio ...BIG has a really high failure rate ... most people on this forum itself have RMAed their BIG cards atleast once.

their pricing is attractive no doubt and the good thing is they come with a 3 years warranty ... buy BIG if u really cant stretch ur budget else go for leadtek /xfx.

BIG is a POS. XFX and Leadtek are good, I prefer the latter, but that's a matter of personal choice...:)

1K isn't much more, the headache with big can also be big... you pay for what you get and get exactly what you pay for...remember :cool2:
 
stay away for BIG at all cost! the failure rate is pretty high, and the service isnt that good either.. and between XFX and leadtech, id chose xfx only for the better availability and service.
