Hi All

Got myself a BB 9900 today. Amazing Phone, Its very Unlike BB to have such a smooth looking phone and absolutely prefect key layout (I usually type long emails about 30-50 times a day). Will be saying my iphone & SGS II goodbye as i finally found a phone i can live with for a really long time.

The thing i like the most is the built quality, no matter what you see on youtube, this phone is really rigid, with a easy to use keyboard. I am not a facetime guy so don't need a front cam and all.

All metallic rim is really nice to see.

Damages 30.3K.

The metal ring is real metal and its brushed metal.

Back panel is part metal and the battery cover is Carbon Fiber.

The Phone feels really sturdy, haven't felt this good since Bold 1 or the iPhone 2G days.

The phone is not glossy, back metal body and the keypad, both are low tone finished. Besides that the Liquid Display is really good, i never expected this clear screen on a Black Berry Phone.

If you ask me, I bought my 9700 for 27K and felt robbed, however pay 30K for this phone is as worth as paying 14K for a Defy.
 
Nice!! You are planning to say good bye to your SGS2 and the Iphone? How soon do you plan to sell it in the market place? Would love to say hello to those phones!

Hi

After writing all the emails i hardly get the energy to put down any review. In fact, the last time i wrote a review was at least an year back.

I would say no to the Torch as it is bulky when compared to 9900. Some other downs of the BB Torch is that you cannot carry it in the pocket not just because of the weight but the size. I have always seen 'Very Prone To Abuse' nature of sliding phones, where in the Bold Family is really tough.

In 9810 you get a bigger screen with the same resolution hence the overall experience of the screen is pleasant in 9900.

Beyond that it is up to the choice of the person.

Great purchase. Congratulations and enjoy your BB 9900. Good pictures but you missed the backside of the phone. It would have been nice. But still thanks for sharing.
