Boot Problem

My windows xp fail to boot some times..actually its has a typical problem!!

whenever i start my pc sometimes booting is completed but no display in the monitor!

monitor just starts to blink up like in stand by mode!!!

its not happening everytime!
but some times!!!

help me plz!!!

i have installed xp twice!!!

but no way to recover from this prob!!!

plz help me!
 
check ur display settings, keep it at low resolution, try if the problem persists by going into safe mode a few times n put back ur observations here. If the system boots but there is no display, its usually that you have set a higher resoultion than what ur monitor actually supports
 
its not the resolution....

dis this problem occur after installing a newer driver or a new program or even a virtual drive software???
 
Login to window in safe mode by pressing F8 during booting,Remove all recently added hardware drivers and softwares reinstall graphics sound and Ethernet drivers .Config the TCP/IP setting of your network adapter(Do Not let it to auto) Remove all data from Local user Temp and windows\Prefetch folder.Scan system for viruses and take a look at startup services.:) If nothing worked then don't waste time backup your importent data format disk and fresh reinstall windows.This will save your lots of time.:)
