Hi folks
<

Need to buy a bridge camera and have pretty much zeroed in on these 2 models:

Fujifim FinePix S2950

Panasonic Lumix DMC-FZ35

Which one should I go for in-between the above stated models?

depends on ur preference.

If you like normal AA Alkaline batteries -- S2960

If u prefer Inbuilt battery (rechargeable) -- FZ35.

Both have similar features. But i am using FZ35 since one year now, and its a good cam for its price. (around 13k or less).

#Black_Hawk both are good but afaik both are older models now a days replaced by better latest models.

In Fuji its S3000 / S3300 and in panasonic its FZ45 /48 /100.

Also look at Canon SX130 / 140 IS.

Are you looking for a camera or a telescope? Don't fall for those zoom numbers. The best camera for 20k odd I've tested is the Olympus XZ-1. It almost makes entry level dslrs redundant as it costs less and does more than the entry level dslr with a kit lens. Seriously quick f/1.8 to f/2.5 lens and a big noise free sensor.

I had looked into the Fujifilm S3300 but from all the reviews that I've read and seen on youtube it appears the Fujifilm 2950 is a better camera overall albeit at a lower price. If anyone here is using a Fujifilm 3300 camera, would love to hear his experience using it.
