BSNL cheating?

I applied for BSNL Home 500 plan and paid Rs 500 in advance for it.i have been using it since 4th of this month.But the dataone.in page shows I am using home start up plan.

One of my local friends also appilied for 500 plan and got start up plan..He brought it to my attention and i noticed that mine is the same case.

I will approch the bsnl officials on monday.Has this happened to any of you guys?If they tell that I have to pay the extra some Rs 3500 for approx 4+gb i have downloaded in free time..what are my options?I have the recipts with me which shows that I opted and paid for 500 plan......
 
well.. i have same kinda problem..
now i took BSNL 250 bucks plan last month...
and this month on 16th i changed it to 500 bucks plan . i wrote a oficial letter to some BSNL officer nd he gave me a code which i gave to the local offier at the telephone exchange .. he instaled the code and told me that my connection will be converted to home 500plan within a day or two .. but still the connection shows start-up plan ..
I have no idea :S .. and too scared to d/l more ...

I use Shaplus coz of convinience but I checked the dataone site..they are showing home start up too.Like when I orderservice recordrs for home500,i get nothing and if i ask for home start up,i get all the usage statistics.

Anyways I will contact bsnl ppl on monday and let you guyz know what happened..Hoping that I won't get some 5000rs bill and my dad won't throw me out of home..
 
if they insist you to pay the money write a letter as a complaint with the plan details xerox and submit it. Hopefully they will accept their mistake and leave it this time. Fight till u get it.
 
I have another question too..off the topic still...

I have mixed time usage of about 2.5 gb.i i stop downloading at some 7.55 and reconnect at .15 but they don't take that into account...Sometimes I haven't downloaded after 7.55 am but the connection is still there..It comes as mixed time usage...

I want to know how the mixed time usage is charged..Will they take everything as one single instant and charge the free time or they stop the free time exactly at 8 am and start counting the time after that?

Does it happen to aanyone that bsnl server time is 30 mins fast between 7.45 and 8.15 or is it just to me?Is there any variation between bsnl time and the local time some 5 mins variation is acceptable..but is there something like 30 mins gap..?
 
Called those guyz today.....they said to call them when the bill comes and they will take care of rest and there won't b much problem....
 
the only problem is that they wil never send anything written or show u even ki where and how mch of an adjustment has been made ..

been thru all this b4 .. :)
