BSNL Dataone Slower than Dialup...

Hello,
I am using BSNL Dataone Home 500 2mbps plan.. It was fine till one month before.. But suddenly there speed is gonna kill me... It take about 80 sec to open Techenclave, about 400 sec to scam Steam Game Updates. About 200 sec to Open Post New Thread in TE...

Whats wrong with my Connection?? Is there same thing happening with anyone??

i am not using any of these dns servers...minez not as slow as Rahulzzzz......

btw rahul do check ur connx lines once.....

Run > Type CMD > In Command prompt type "ipconfig /all" [without quotes]

You will get your DNS Servers...

^ Thanks for remembering OpenDNS.. Working slightly better.. But not at ALL. :( Btw.. Something is better than nothing... :|
 
Check you line for noise or disturbance, happens in the monsoons usually. Also what's your DSL Upstream/Downstream?
 
I had a similar problem once, the connection was painfully slow and disconnections were frequent....... got the wiring checked, didn't help.....eventually decided to try changing my modem and everything got back to normal........try using a friend's modem and see if it helps.......
 
Using DNS servers of Singtel is also an option. I use OpenDNS and primary and Singtel as Secondary DNS.
