BSNL frequent dc and low bw

guys,i have the bsnl home 1800 plan,and till a few says bak ther was no dc and the speed was 256kbps.:huh:
so can anyone tell me the reason for frequent disconnection and y the speed is so low wen i have opted for the home 1800 plan(512 kbps with 5gb dl/ul)
 
you on USB?? cause usb has stability issues..

and post your SNR margin and your line attenuation here..

(your router homepage -> status --> adsl )

i too am on DATAONE .. 500 Home user plan..
i have been scratchin my head hard for two days in a row.. i too have been experiencing the error 678 .. that of no reply by the remote computer..

Well as far as i kno .. these knuckleheads are updating their database..
Also i heard that DATAONE is plannin to launch the Unlimited package soon ... so they are also doin some research in their database as even a small error is gonna jeopardise the job of the HOD
so mite be doin too mch is making the effect show up now..

And the most frustrating is that these ppl shut the service in the nite.. so all the free dwnload slots are wasted... Bloody idiots..:@

Friday is a holiday .. and Sat and Sundays are off as well .. wait till monday for any announcements.. m keepin my fingers crossed.. cheers...!! :cheers:
